Mit 1:3 unterliegt eine mit mehreren U21 Spielern verstärkte Luxemburger U19 gegen Serbien.
Nachdem die Partie vor 275 Zuschauern in den ersten gut 20 Minuten nur so vor sich hin plätscherte war es nach 23′ Minuten Deidda, der mit dem 1:0 für die Hausherren den Bann durchbrechen konnte. Dem Führungstreffer ging dabei ein haarsträubender Fehler der Serbischen Hintermannschaft voraus.
Nach dem Seitenwechsel wurde die Breu-Elf dann kalt erwischt, als nur zwei Minuten nach dem Seitenwechsel Poletanovic aus dem Gewühl heraus mit einem sehenswerten Heber den Luxemburger Keeper überwinden und das 1:1 erzielen kann. Danach verflacht die Partie zusehends und so dauert es bis zur 75′ Minute ehe der nächste Treffer fällt. Dabei ist es Lemajic der mit einem schönen Drehschuss ins lang Eck den 2:1 Führungstreffer für die Serben erzielt. Luxemburg agiert danach mit dem Mute der Verzweiflung doch wirklich zwingend sind die roten Löwen nur bei einem Fernschuss der knapp übers Tor gelenkt wird und nach einer Ecke. Poletanovic nutzt dann in der 88′ eine erneute Unachtsamkeit in der Hintermannschaft der Hausherren aus und macht mit einem strammen Schuss den 3:1 Endstand klar.

Like you, I have travelled the world's great ranges, but going over Dyers Pass and being in the Port Hills and on that Peninsula, is a land apart. Actually I have heard of Buckwheat Zydeco. It’s a cheat though, I studied American Folk Song and Ballad in college. I’m a bit of a purist at heart and generally like the older version better, that techno stuff can really crap up a good song… I’ll give you Scarborough Fair as the latest incarnation in the folk process, a remake in its way, and a truly gorgeous song.
